Cotswold Lavender Day 2019

Lavender and Cotswold Classics Day Itinerary  

9.00am meet at the Lygon Arms for breakfast coffee just off Broadway High St, 
9.30am up to the Lavender Fields- here I will show you composition ideas for shooting the Lavender. Also macro work if you have a macro lens. Wild Flower Photography 

12.00 Break coffee- discuss images so far, move onto 
Broadway Tower 

13.30 Lunch in Chipping Campden 
After lunch we then move around the Cotswolds to some of my other favourite locations. 
here are a few,

Views across the Wolds 
Hidcote House and Gardens 
Stow on the Wold, street and church photography
River Avon 

We will visit as many as we can through the day, not necessarily in this order. 
Broadway tower can look good later in the day. 

Infra Red 
I will also go through infra red camera settings, shooting locational ideas for the summer, bringing quite striking images to your portfolio 

If it is moody with rain and sun in the afternoon, I will go over to the Malvern Hills which is a great dramatic location.

Entrance to the Lavender Fields 

It doesn't include the entrance fee to Hidcote Gardens but it is National Trust so if you are a member then please bring your membership card.  

We will finish the day depending on the weather and locations from around 5.00pm. 
I will carry on if it looks promising for some interesting later light, it also depends on how far photographers need to travel and wish to carry on.  

it is a full day of photography, from wide angle work, macro photography, infra red and long lens work. 

It is a great fun day of photography, the weather is usually sunny and warm, really relaxed with breaks for coffee, 
 All my one day workshops are designed for small groups of three or four maximum.
